Why can't I edit the title of my threads?

I've been trying to change the title of this thread to "delete" because I want to have it deleted but I can't even do that.

In fact this has been a problem for me since I came back on here...please help!

Deleted it, did you click on thread tools, then edit title when you were trying to change the title?
