Damn how old is the majority of yall to be have been too old to fukk with the N64 :dwillhuh:

Like other dudes said, Nintendo is stuck in the past, but I won't say they're done yet. They just need to take different approaches with their games. A lot of what's holding them back is to put actual VOICES in their games. Sure the characters won't be the same, but that will be for the better IMO. Most games nowadays that do well have decent to engaging plots involving the player and other characters. You can't do that with them one word phrases, weird sounds and noises them Nintendo characters be making. With everything as cinematic as it is now, you can't have just the game speak for itself.

Maybe Zelda and Metriod would benefit from voice acting, but leave extensive voice acting out of games cause getting good voice actors runs up the gaming budget.

Maybe keep the player controlled character silent while everyone else talks. It doesn't have to be a lot dialogue, but anything will be better than the same noises that they've been using for years now. I feel Mario would benefit from it, too, cuz without it it's pretty much the same game over and over again.

Nintendo also needs to chill with so many games having that party-gimmicky co-op stuff.

Other M's voice acting was:scusthov: , then again that whole game was :scusthov:but I agree that Zelda should have voice acting EXCEPT for Link. Plus I don't want to see a repeat of this:

Only thing that should come out of Links mouth is "HA!" when he swings his sword.

The thing with Nintendo is that they're caught up in developing "revolutionary" gaming features with their systems, and they have been since their genesis in the console market. They revolutionized with the first D-pad for NES, first shoulder buttons with SNES, first analogue stick and vibrating controller with N64, and first to incorporate the motion sensor controller with Wii. I believe they were first with the controller speaker as well. I don't think they have it in them to develop a console without some new feature, when I feel like most gamers today simply want them to make a powerful console with viable 3rd party support, without necessarily trying to break the mold creatively like Sony and Microsoft do with their systems. I don't see it happening anytime soon. I'm hoping that the handheld market keeps them around long enough for them to put out a solid console without any bells and whistles. :to:

I think if your gonna have voice acting in Zelda than Link should have a voice. Otherwise how would he communicate with Zelda? It doesn't make sense that he would stay quite. Same with Samus, how would she respond to people without having a voice?

As far mario, I don't think voice acting is really necessary. Mario games are pick up and play games, they dont need to be cinematic imo. Plus I can't picture Bowser having a voice that is not corny.

I dont really care about their sales like so many do here. Their games are good but not really worth the purchase for a new system. When Bayonetta drops i'll cop one

It's a 3DS without the 3D capability... PLUS you can't close it.

I thought it was a joke at first...
