I think if your gonna have voice acting in Zelda than Link should have a voice. Otherwise how would he communicate with Zelda? It doesn't make sense that he would stay quite. Same with Samus, how would she respond to people without having a voice?

As far mario, I don't think voice acting is really necessary. Mario games are pick up and play games, they dont need to be cinematic imo. Plus I can't picture Bowser having a voice that is not corny.
Link could be on some silent warrior shyt and never speak. The protagonists for the games like the Fallout series, Borderlands series, and Dishonored did little to no speaking throughout the entire game and it all went well. They could give a voice to Samus since they've done it before, just find a better actress this time around. Nintendo should give Metroid a reboot with a more Halo-like atmosphere. Also, taking more time to build a better multiplayer could benefit the game greatly.

Mario games won't need much dialogue at all. Mario himself doesn't need a voice, but I think characters like Peach, Toad, Bowser and any other major character should. No voice for Yoshi though :whoa:, that could end up being some Jar Jar Binks shyt. Bowser's voice could sound something like Hades from the God of War series, but toned down a lil...

Btw yall know the dude that did Hades also did Mr. Krabs from Spongebob :deadmanny:

Cutscenes could help Mario games, too, just make em more Pixar/Dreamworks-like. That way they can keep that look they want for younger audiences.

:yeshrug:If Nintendo wants to get back the gamers and not just cater the casual gamers, they need to make some changes. Even if it would change their iconic characters.
