I've never understood this at all. Like do they think we don't know it's fake or something? You can bash it if you think the writing or acting is terrible (since most of us already do that), but to completely write it off the second you know it's fake is ignorant.

It didn't really bother me for awhile until the past few days with the streak ending and Warrior Dying, which brought out all of wrestling's haters on Twitter. The funniest thing is seeing people go ape shyt over the Red Wedding in GoT but telling wrestling fans why do you care about a streak.

It seems like the worst offenders are those who Vince truly duped and they have like a vendetta against them because they actually believed it was real.

Why can't people look past wrestling being fake? No one calls a sports movie or action film fake but they feel like it's their life goal to let you know it's fake.

You know what I don't understand, how some fans forgot the concept of storytelling in wrestling. Like when YOU don't have to win a WM match to validate. HBK is a good example, as he is one of the best but had a decent win-loss at the big show. Being said he had the most memorable matches, win or loss. :stopitslime:

I never understood it either. I think its just something people like to say but yeah, they take all those "Breaking Bad" and "Game of Throne" shows to heart :snoop:

A: that AVI is incredible kid.

B: people who feel the need to jab at wrestling fans are funny to me, they really feel like they're privy to something we don't know. .. I honestly wonder if those same weirdos would be disappointed if they met Bryan Cranston in a grocery store and he didn't yell "I am the one who knocks!"

Growing up in the 90s (blessed) we all knew it was fake, but we lamented on the fact that the fighting was real, while the outcome was predetermined.

The over the top chars, in your face attitude, crazy story lines and easily imitated move set is what kept us entertained and engrossed in the lore.

Even though it was fake, there was still a mystery of who would win, who would screw who over, and who was pulling all the strings in the end.

it was like the best of both worlds when every thing kliq'd.

Meh...fukk with people who like the shyt you like.

Trying to convince people to like wrestling when they use the fact that it's scripted is a lost cause. It's such an absurd reason to not like it that I don't even bother.

The only thing on TV that's not scripted is fukking sports and the news ( :troll: ) so that's a dumb reason.

Yea I hate how they always emphasize that one and only point like whatever bullshyt "reality show" they watch ain't scripted. Like get over it, that's not news anymore, now if you said it was for kids then I would understand
