Why can't Patriots fans admit Coughlin out-coached Belichick?

Every time Belichick wins he's a genius.
When he loses, it's luck.

Just admit that in the biggest games, Coughlin was better.

Because coaching issues weren't the reasons we lost those Super Bowls. :what:
But you quick to cite Super Bowls when talking about Belichick's "genius"

:sas2:

Even though they lucked out against the Rams.
Only beat Carolina because of that kickoff that went out of bounds.
And only beat the Eagles because McNabb got scared.

He got lucky in some victories and he got unlucky in some L's. A bounce or two here or there has decided many a championship. Most folks like to spin that to suit their bias though.

What are other instances where all time greats were dominated by 1 unlikely opponent?

Stout, physical defenses that can get consistent pressure on the QB give the Pats (or any other team come playoff time) problems. Giants fit that profile so their is nothing unlikely (or dominant) about it. Pats used to be that "unlikely" squad beating teams the same way.

Beli deserves his accolades, suggesting otherwise is only making you look foolish.

Contrary to popular belief, you can praise one guy without belittling the other. We never wax on poetic about Beli outcoaching Martz, Fox, or Reid. Not even Carroll, who was a play calling blunder away from cashing in on his fluke play.

Your thread makes no sense, but keep vying for our attention :skip:

So Belichick didn't out coach them?
