Cam fell off but he peaked during the "I get computers, (Vladimir) Putin" era

The style was not original. He still somewhat held onto the same same technique in his writing , but his cadence and delivery had to change in order for him to stand out. He was sounding like Drag-on and X 
Because hip hop was changing and went through a shift in the late 90's - early 00's.
Do you really think COTC, Confessions, S.D.E sounding Cam'ron would have been able to seen the success of Cam from 02-04 in the 00's? I don't think so. He changed, yeah... but I think the shift just showed how versatile he can be and I love that about Cam'Ron.

I wish you nikkas who don't listen to Cam would stop trying to evaluate his music. Y'all judge him off singles from songs almost a decade old and act like they're new lines.
Also, that computers putin line as a reference is so played out in terms of criticizing his lyrical ability because its a needle in a haystack of really dope shyt Cam'Ron said later in his career.. yeah, hes said some corny shyt but what rapper hasn't? I can think of about 50 dope ass quoteables and metaphors Cam has made for every corny line hes said, so that shyt is IRRELEVANT to me.
