Why did my thread 'Phoenix police officer shoots dead unarmed black man during scuffle' get deleted?

I mean, isn't the 'Event Help' section for help? Sure, I could tag mods, but I can't really see why you or anyone else who maods this section can't help me since you do own the site...I couldn't have broken any rules, since all I did was link a Yahoo article. But, let's see...

I actually meant to read that thread.
It was deleted because it was a duplicate. You can read the OG thread posted by @SpeaktotheMods near the top of the first page in TLR.
yeah it is meant for help but unless we discussed the thread in our mod forum i really have no idea why a thread would be deleted. there's an option for a mod to leave a deletion reason but that doesn't always happen and plus i would have to go skim through the forum pages to even find the thread because theres no way to search for a deleted thread. its much easier to just tag the mods and ask them directly instead of me being the middle man
