He didn’t suck the year after he was a drive away basically a drop from Alshon to taking them to a NFC Championship game.

He's a backup quality QB. Good backups can give you a good 6, 7 games but they're not sustainable long term.

No QB is gonna look great bouncing around with nobody committing to them and nothing tailored for them. NFL is ass backwards. Dude won a chip slanging that bytch...no Trent Dilfer and got sent right back to the bench and eventually got rid of him altogether. Meanwhile dudes that look the part and havent done shyt get chance after chance with offenses built around them and players/coaches brought in just for them just because they look the part.
