Did they get tired of the same subject matter?

Was he overexposed when GRODT came out?

Did the public see his "entrepreneur" image, like this for example:
and say: "he's not relatable or a man of the people, so we can't rock with him anymore?"

What do you think is the reason?

A lil overexposure. The sound of mainstream hip hop kinda changed with rise of Lil Wayne and Kanye West in 04. Plus, the singles from that second album crept too far into Ja Rule territory. It was a perfect storm.
He was popular up until he lost the first week sales battle to Ye, after that, popularity wise, he slowly became :flabbynsick:

He's a c*nt. He went from underdog to bully. People hate stuff like that. He didn't spread any love at all.

When G-Unit was popping he put them on an island and separated them from the rest of NY. Then when they weren't popping anymore they're jumping on other artist tracks and getting guest features.

He bullied himself in a corner. He made too many enemies and pushed so many people around that when his popularity started to dip, nobody wanted to pull his ass out the quicksand. He simply faded into obscurity and we had Ye and Wayne to hold us over those mid to late 2000s era. If he wasn't such a dikkhead to everyone and a bully, there would have been a lot of producers who wouldn't have mind putting him on some fire beats and saving his ass.:ehh:
