Why did the music industry protect Pop music and not rap?

Pop fell off for mad long. Rap had a crazy run from like 2012 up until like two years ago lol

Pop music has just made a comeback.

Rap music is so trash right now. They need to do better.

U can pushed pop sales way better than rap from the UK/Europe and other places than u can push rap

Yeah yeah rap popularity is good and streams are good, but majority of these nikkas are not selling shyt and this been going on for years and years
