Why didn't other cities copied the Philly Black Mafia model?

I was watching a documentuary on the Philly Black Mafia. They were a smartly run and organized organization. I have new found respect for Philly nikkas. Had mad pull. Consolidated alot of black gangs and other crews into one. Became a force of nature in the streets of Philly. One of the few Black crews that no one fukked with? But why wasn't other cites with significant black populations were like this? Off the top of my head Supreme Team from Queens, BMF in Atlanta and Best Friends from Detroit and Larry Hoover from Chicago were close. Imagine if the Philly Black Mafia lasted to the 80s and 90s. Linked up with Larry Hoover,Supreme Team or BMF? The streets wouldnt be filled with anarchy and bedlam. It would be a black La Cosa Nostra. And black nationalist organization nationwide.

Black organized crime still exist in pockets throughout the states but are more lowkey. The Gangster Disciples in the South are very organized and modeled after the Mafia. Either way there were plenty of Black organized crime groups in America just that law enforcement gone after them harder for obvious reasons.

But yea Black Mafia in Philly is an interesting story. Also Philly cats does JBM still exist or nah?

I'm pretty sure the average descendent of the philly mob is poor af and still lives in the hood. So in other words their father/grandfather killed, robbed, tortured and terrorized all those people (who the overwhelming vast majority were black) for no reason leaving them literally nothing behind but broken homes, more violence and poverty.
