they did. It had Dolph Lundren in it.
the scripts were shyt and the plan got dropped. No interest.
Ideas were mish mash, some wanted it to be faithful to the original idea (not the cartoon concept, adam/he-men).

They are makin one, the script is online somewhere.
Dolph was perfect (look wise)and his body was amazing, those abs were popping out like ice cubes.
Cannon tried to push out a sequel with a spiderman movie but bankruptcy shut all that down..so a quick project was made from the props (intended for he man 2 and spiderman) into Cyborg (van damme).

It was scrapped. The kid who wrote Snow White and the Huntsmen wrote a script too which was also scrapped.
Please no. They just gonna ruin my childhood.
They making the movie. The guy who directed the new G.I. JOE movie is directing it. They rewriting the script. It's gonna be made, it's in active development.
