Why didn't they put the old school arcade games on new gen systems?

I mean like Wrestlefest, Alien vs Predator, Ninja Turtles, Final Fight, etc?

They could make millions possibly billions off nostalgia alone

Some did get a re release, but honestly. The thing about old school co op games and just arcade games in general was the money factor.


That was a huge driving part in staying alive and the intensity. And it made for great fun with your friends in person.


To capture that now, it would have to mimic that in some way, be it with difficultly or no continues. Heck even making them free to play and you buying "tokens" to use.


That would actually be kind of dope...:jbhmm:

Woulda been nice (if they were free), but with even a pretty shytty PC you can run almost all emulators with no problem so I don't see why old school games are needed on consoles
