And just kill Dr. Gero before he can create the Androids and Cell?

DBZ got a kind complicated set of timelines. I was reading bout the shyt and apparently Cell came back before Trunks did the first time?

Three sets of timelines. First, where Trunks comes back and kills Frieza and his pops, then warns them. They train for the nyggas and then somehow this timeline was LONG SINCe affected because Cell was already walking around before Frieza came to Earth. Trunks came back again and noticed shyt was all fukked up. This Trunks went back after they got the remote and killed the Androids. Then the Cell that was already lurking killed Trunks and took his time machine.......

I don't know man, I been watching this while on this shift and thinking how three alternate timeslines exists got me bugging. It never occurred to me when I was a youngin watching this that CELL and not Trunks was what actually caused the timeline to deviate for the one we see.

It was explained that Trunks didn't know exactly where Gero's lab was. All Trunks knew was when they would appear. Keep in mind Trunks didn't even know what Gero looked like.

Shyt is confusing, why not go back to when Goku was sonning the hell outta the Red Ribbon Army as a kid? They were a pretty big company, he prolly coulda twisted some arms and found out.

And even if he doesn't go that far, The Trunks that Cell killed didn't even consider going back to kill Gero and he was the one who killed the Androids with the remote instead of getting stronger.

That would disrupt the timeline too much and probably prevent him from ever being born...

Also as trunks explained it. time travel worked differently in dbz. each time he time traveled he didn't change his future just create a new alternate timeline. which is why after Gohan destroyed cell the androids(and cell) still existed in Trunks' timeline. He was just there to watch Goku fight the androids and hopefully learn a weakness from Goku's battles or bring Goku back with him to help him fight(his original plan).

Huh? Nothing about the Androids ever dictated whether Trunks was born or not, in the OG timeline they all die.

Cell is the one who really fukked up the timeline, not Trunks.
