Does that mean the the entire Bible is a metaphor?
In other words, it's all untrue and just used as an allegorical tale? Thus Jesus is not real? Or do you get to pick and choose what is real and what is metaphor?

I think a lot of atheist are probably atheists because they don't think the Bible is true, among other reasons.
I think atheists believe the Bible is as real as a Harry Potter book. Religious people believe the stuff really happened.

There are atheists i met that believe that the bible has had things redacted and convoluted to sound like a fairy tale, and that certain parts are not highlighted enough.
