Change is inevitable...
Yeah I'm well aware of these things man I'm not a couch potatoSteroids allow you to train harder.
And it allows you to recover faster.
But here's the thing.
By and large, in a sport like baseball...strength is not that big of a deal. I know that sounds crazy but understand that baseball is largely a skill sport. You don't need to be 230 pounds to hit home runs. You don't need 18 inch arms to throw 95 mph. So very, very few players were bums but actually became stars because of the juice.
Now the recovery? That is a much larger deal. Because you're talking about a sport where position players get maybe 4 days off in a month. And often less. It's 162 games in roughly 180 days. That's brutal whether people realize it or not. So being able to bounce back and play at a high level...thru the nagging injuries is a major leg up. It's also impactful for pitching recovery, but that's a little trickier for casual fans to understand because they think having 4 days off between starts negates any of the rigors of pitching.

And I get that but if you can't cut it then you can't cut it
Really if you involve steroids it's all about the money it's not about the competition or the sport at all
