Why do black Greeks seem to be “louder” about their association after college than white frat boys?

I don’t mean this disrespectfully before one of y’all come at me in fact I appreciate how proud folks are of they orgs.


I’ve just been curious tho I still see all the brehs/brehettes in full force over they orgs. But frfr all the white folks I knew in college who were in a sorority/fraternity don’t be promotin it like that…

Every white girl I know that was in a sorority in college basically removed all association from that /hides it after college or keeps it mad lowkey. I’m only 23 too so recently removed from college so this shyt happened real quick and recently. shyt the white boys I know don’t even bring it up frfr.


I wasn’t D9 associated at all so idk anything about y’all culture just kinda odd cause back in college the D9 orgs were the ones moving quietly


Are y’all just more close knit and makes it more like a family type shyt?

It means more to be a part of a black org than it does to be apart of a white org. White fraternities are some shyt white boys do just for the time they're in college. Came in to say this. White frats don't need to advertise it loudly bc the connections and network they build while in already paid off before even graduating, that in and out of itself is advertisement that they pass down to their kids.

"Look I went to college and yall didnt" or "my frat/soror is better than yalls"
It doesn't have to be like that and many people are lowkey with it after college.
But some really use it to feel superior over other people.

You have it all wrong my friend. Cacs hide their associations to fraternities because they want to give an appearance they've made it on their own and didn't get any help which is a farce. They join frats to get connections and nice jobs and careers after college. They get daddy's money and generation wealth and they get hook ups and good jobs for life from their frats. Remember white supremacy tries to hide their lineage from us for the most part. They want us to believe their self made on an individual basis which is bullshyt. They want you to think you can achieve what they have in 1 lifetime from nothing which isn't true and nearly impossible
