I'll never get it, but it seems to be a HUGE thing in the black community. If you date outside your race, people assume you're rejecting the idea of ever dating your own race again or that you date strictly outside of your own race.
I got a Facebook message way back in '05 when I was in college from a black lesbian chick trying to check me about that shyt and that's when I first realized how close-minded people can be able that shyt.

Me: That's not necessarily true though, at least not in my case. I'm attracted to all races, including black females and if the opportunity ever presented itself, I'd consider it without hesitation. I honestly don't discriminate... The problem is (and I talk to Kevin about this sometimes) that the majority of black girls here aren't available. Last year in Shiple, we ran down a list of attractive black females and ALL of them had boyfriends...which kind of makes sense...but I don't leave enough to talk to girls off-campus and the majority on campus are white or other.... Last year, I talked to a Native American girl and dated a white girl...I've YET to be approached by a (single) black girl. I'm cool with plenty of them, but it's just never gotten to that point. It's not like I'm seeing who's easy and just preying on them...it's just kind of a coincidence. There are a bunch of other reasons if you want to get really in-depth and raw with it. I don't know...get at me.

When I worked corporate (very professional attire) and trained new hires, black women would ask if I had kids or was married. id say no. they'd be like
