Why do dudes say motorcycles attract women?

Now, I don't ride, but I plan on doing so soon. That said, I ain't expecting to attract women. Every comment from a woman I've read called them dangerous, dumb, and tell you to leave it at home. Motorcycles aren't status symbols either, so you not even getting gold diggers.
