Why do girls care if a guy only has a few friends?

This girl who I sometimes sit with at work said to me the other day why don't you use your phone more often to text your boys and then gave me at the same time.

Don't get me wrong, I think a woman has a right to know what kind of guys someone hangs around with just to be on the safe side but I don't see how does the quantity matter in this sense. You want a train run on you or some shyt?

Personally, I wouldn't care if a woman had less friends because I would be more interested in her.

It would be nice if most women had a mature perspective like this
