It's less about appeal, and more about it being the default meeting point. Everyone goes to the store to buy shyt, so it only makes sense that's where folks will naturally go to hang out that's in proximity and doesn't cost a dime.

Because they want to. Because they know c00ns and cacs get scared when they see hood nikkas in front of the store and they keep driving by and go to a store in the white neighborhood that's safe for them.

feels bad to say since I'm cool with a few of em but they're all bums no lie. No job. Some of em make a lil money sweeping up the corner store if Ock let's em. Tatleast twice a summer there are candles lit outside the corner store as the oops always know where to find them.
Spoke about it in another thread but almost got into it with an old head that hangs out outside one of the corners by me. I bumped the nikka and he fake tried to buck up smh even after I said my bad
fighting these nikkas is a lose lose even when you'd easily win. They don't mind sitting in jail a few days since they don't work but I have shyt to do, my own crib and a job to go to the following day. These nikkas will bring you down to their level if you let em.

They have no energy for cacs. Them cacs walk straight on in and all them nikkas smile at em and mean mug other nikkas instead. I see it in my hood all the time via gentrification. White folks walking around like everything peachy day and night.
