Why do humans have a false sense of superiority?

Humans think just cause you're a man or woman that you are 'better' than other animals in terms of intelligence. Not true. The reason for human's recent sprint in accelerated technology building and other facets that have helped the over-all human life are due to a SHORT list of a select few individuals. Majority of humans aint shyt. Anyone agree?

The few shining stars in our human existence are responsible and should be given full credit for the state of human existence right now.
