My dad's side of the family is mostly made up of upper middle class professionals like professors, lawyers, doctors, management, IT/engineering, business/finance, etc., and most of the peeps on my mom's side of the family are either on welfare or working minimum wage jobs like food service, cashiers, CNAs, etc. Me and my dad are like at the mentalities of some of the extended family on my mom's side on the rare occasion we visit them.

Unrelated side note: at them jokers being so slack-jawed and impressed when they see my parents completely normal and unassuming suburban house.

I think it's cus some people become successful and assimilate into white culture/neighborhoods and end up "forgetting" where they came from. Also for some reason their is an anti academic culture in the hood.

IMO just from the research I've gathered most people really believe the things White Supremacy has taught them.

Reading... they learned from their Grandma (that's for white folks cause they'd get in trouble for doing it)
having money & having a decent life... that's another thing from slave days (why they trying to be white folks, because those were the only ones doing it)

as for the other things like violence & hypersexuality (these are things that we were told we were, they believed it and some embraced it)
