I didnt like the way miami vice turned out....The live action cameras was not needed it looked too low budget...:beli: even though the story was good it just looked off...:patrice: it worked for collateral but he should have used regular cameras...

I've always thought Heat looks like crap. The really bad green-screen scenes didn't look good when it first came out.

If you want great framing and cinematography, art films. For current folks working, directors like Sergei Loznitsa, Cristian Mungiu, Terrence Malick, Lav Diaz, etc. Funny enough, the first two directors on that list both use the same cinematographer (Oleg Mutu).

I thought Jamie's performance was overrated, but that movie looked dope. Need a Vincent prequel

To each their own, I can't put my finger on it but it looks "washed out" like a made for TV movie. And I don't like the shaky cam look either. Cruise made the movie dope tho
