Why do old heads act like they aren't responsible for the path of the current generation?

All I ever hear old people saying is "this generation this, this generation that" as if they was just fukking Saints growing up. Like they have no responsibility for the fukked up state this generation is in

I agree but the way the previous generation criticizes the current it's as if they lived in some type of utopia with fairys and stardust then suddenly we came along and all hell broke out.

I don't know what you consider old or how old you are. I'm 26. I criticize everything, don't take it personally.

This also leads to the fact that we're all responsible for this reality we exist in though.
