Naw, I've read Dostoyevsky and a little bit of Alexander Pushkin (1 short story, although it was 140 pages long)

It's not exactly boring, I read Crime & Punishment and it was long and confusing as fukk, but after a little bit you're finally able to piece things together and story becomes nothing other than intense and entertaining.

The Captains Daughter by Alexander Pushkin is quite funny (I bought a book of his short stories and that story is the main story). It was 140 pages, but when I picked it up I flew through it quickly once I got my reading rhythm down.

If I were to suggest something then I'd suggest The Captains Daughter tbh

I heard Pushkin was half black. I'll check that book out.

lol, that's still pretty black given the time and place. :heh:

Yeah, I'll prolly start light since I'm not the biggest novel reader in the world.
Not really, the nikka was born in 1799 lol.

Yeah, that's a good idea or just read some mark twain, he's funny tbh.

lol, yeah I suppose it was a bit better, especially since he was 1/8th.

If its Twain I'm starting with King Leopold.
Lol his great grandfather was full African and in Russia and had kids with a Russian wife, but I have this DVD lecture on Russian lit by this professor and he mentions alexander pushkin, the nikka was a troll tbh and he went around Russia showing off his African heritage and challenging nikkas to duels. :heh:

Have you read the million pound note before?

lmfao, that's fukkin crazy. Yeah I'ma definitely find time to pick up the Pushkin. Funny enough I'm reading Black Count about Alexandre Dumas who was an equally wild mixed nikka. Great book btw.

Nah, I never read Million Pound Note tho.

Lol that nikka challenged someone to a duel and someone ended up killing his ass lmao, but the cool thing about him was he was trying to spread some political propaganda at a ballet, so the chief of police catches his ass and tells alexander to show him all of his work (even though it was against the state the chief thought it'd be a crime to imprison Alexander) but since Alexander was in fear of being sentenced to prison for that propaganda he burned all of his writings before he went to the ballet that day, but the catch 22 is the nikka had a photographic memory so he was able to write all the shyt again loool.

Who is that? When I was at the book store today I saw his books, oh he wrote the 3 musketeers which I always hear is fire. Oh that's a biography?

That ones a good 1, it's short and online. shyts fun and kind of ironic, if you've seen brewsters millions or trading places or even mr deeds then it's similar to all of those.

High thoughts.

Most people don't have any colossal range, a frame of reference, or a diverse set of tastes to go upon, so it's just easier for them to label things IMO. It's part willful ignorance, part natural stupidity, part convience, and part lazy bullsh!t.

Damn that shyt is fukkin crazy. Dude was too wild for his own good. :heh:

Alexandre Dumas is who Three Musketeers, Count of Monte Cristo, etc is based off of. Basically all the Dumas novels go back to his father Alex Dumas. I'm almost done with the book, dude lived a remarkable life.

Yeah, I always meant to read the Soliloquy after learning about the scum that was Leopold.
