Why do people enter threads of posters they dislike?

Inspired by most of @BlackPearl The Empress threads where certain posters literally contribute nothing to the topic least of all their own thoughts and just use it as an opportunity to take silly, tired potshots.


Any guesses why? Is it attention-seeking?

This is the only social outlet for many people. A silly little argument will be the center of some people's day, week, month and for the real crazy...their whole year.

I have no idea how one can "dislike" someone on an internet forum. You don't agree with someone, keep it moving. You'll most probably never meet that person in real life.

Hell most times I don't even remember who posts what. I enter threads based on the title, not who made it

Brehs I might disagree with in one thread, I might agree with in another. Discuss ideas, not people

Some people take this site way to seriously. I’ll disagree with someone in one thread and be laughing with them in another. I just hate when posters come in threads and derail them spamming the tread going back and forth with each other. There was a thread a couple days ago where 2-3 people just completely derailed a good ass thread. Oh and that nikka with that annoying ass cam newton pic/gif. Stupid nikka will post saying he loves his mom then the image. Like get your fakkit ass on

The same reason could be applied as to why people make threads about what they dislike and the people or issues they don't fuk with to ask rhetorical or implied questions/comments.

People enter threads of posters they don't like to argue all day. You don't even have to make the thread but if they see you posting in a thread, they'll just throw subs until you eventually quote them.

I have found ignoring people doesn't make them stop but it sure as hell makes the forum a lot more enjoyable. Lol
