1. You have a lot of judgments, definitions and parameters that apply to YOU, not necessarily everyone else.
2. Ask yourself why it irritates you so much that someone doesn't section off a sexual experience from a friendship...as in, why don't they sort things into the same boxes that you've been given to sort them in.
3. Also why do you have to 'get it' or understand it if it's not a worldview you subscribe to, just do you.

I have some beautiful friendships with people who I have also had sex with. Just like I have deeply intimate connections with people who I haven't.

to answer your question OP, its just sexual tension btw two ppl who share common interest. Hence the friendship. If me and a woman like sports, and movies and the same foods. And do friend shyt, especially when you are young, you tend to test the boundaries of the friendship and see if “ just the tip” works. I mean most ppl become friends first with their future partners.
