The Life, Young Veterans, New Yitty, Real Power Is People, Click Clack, I want Out, It’s Nothing, Veterans Memorial 2, When I See you, 3 Stacks

these were all good songs.
Jordan tower did a nice video for “the life”.

But when people bring up Mobb Deep solos this never gets mentioned.

I think it got overshadowed by other albums summer of 08. I was jamming this album and G-Unit Terminate On Sight all summer 08.

Y’all were jamming Carter 3 smh

H.N.I.C 3 felt like a fun album to me...

Wasn't too serious. P wanted to make a more laid back album for that summer.

I remember playing H.N.I.C Part 3 mixtape that year during Spring 2012. It was a bad time for me so P got me through it.

I respected the fact that P didn’t have tunnel vision during the latter part of his career..

P worked with Curren$y and made peace with many others.

When I heard the Bumpy Johnson EP, I immediately started checking out P's solo material including his collab album Product Of The 80s.

Carter 3 had 2008 on lock...

U know everyone went out and brought the album since the singles were in rotation that year.

H.N.I.C Part 2 wasn't a bad album though.

It had a lot of dope joints. Click Clack would be my favorite song off the album due to Sid Roams.

In retrospect, 2008 had a lot of good albums that year and I was in the 5th Grade before summer hit.

Tha Carter III
Paper Trail
The Recession
Definition Of Real
H.N.I.C Part 2
Theater Of The Mind

Untitles

Even Gucci and Boosie had the mixtape game on lock.

It melds well in a best of playlist from prodigy.

I think people didnt fukk with P's slow style in his later career

I thought it was fukking fire ... He accentuated his off beat flow at a slower style and it came off gangsta as fukk

not everyone understood it though
I liked earlier P better no doubt but you are right the music was still nice. He was off beat and didn't rhyme at times but he still sounded good on the albums and he just seemed angry as fukk. He also had a more conscious side later on in his raps and got on some end of times type shyt but I actually liked that direction although he fell off some lyrically from his peak.

I never really listened much to HNIC 3 but I need to give it a spin again. HNIC 2 was one of my faves that year it dropped and I still can play it to this day.

Everyone liked HNIC 2.

if you didn’t you’re a bum.

You’ve mis-titled your thread as HNIC 3 . That was hit and miss.

  • He released it independently through Voxonic with a distribution deal.
  • This was just before he got knocked for 3 1/2.
  • Scrambled to get a video for every track (before people did that might I add.)
  • It moved badly on two fronts (music wasn’t selling anymore, he couldn’t promote it, Voxonic had never released anything and it was literally P, and a white 25 year old and his dad. That’s the entire Voxonic promo/record team.
  • P ended up suing Voxonic for unfulfilled contractual/monetary obligations mid bid. (Other language albums were promised etc etc.)
