Not going to debate the number because I have serious doubts though I'm sure you can pull some sources to support it. Whether the sources are good I would have to see them. Also next you need to define "convenience"? Very vague term and I imagine if I was a certain political biased pollster, I can frame or reinterpret a variety of responses under the vague umbrella of "convenience".
Never said poor black should reproduce less or that poor people can't raise great kids. However, I also believe if a woman is currently living below the poverty line, has two kids already, struggling pay check to paycheck and know that bringing another child into the world for example is going to be an undue hardship, then I believe in her right to chose to terminate the pregnancy. This is just one possible scenario. If a woman has no child but has far enough foresight to realize that their current situation can not afford a child and they decide to terminate the pregnancy, I support that too. If she decides to keep the kid in both cases, more power to her. Even further, I'm sure there are plenty of people in that situation who can still raise good kids. I have people in my family who turned out fine in such situations. However you can't ignore the statistical likelihoods here either.
Your last sentence ignores the point I mentioned about areas where black populations have vastly exceeds the white minorities and just simply having numbers did not prevent oppression. Here in the united states, to counteract the fact you had southern states with sizeable black populations which would have resulted in more representives in congress from southern states due to larger populations, they just decided to declare blacks as 3/5ths and reduce their representative power.
You agree with me that its the system that determines how people are represented. As you said, jews and other minorities don't have a history of this country actively working to oppress them. You seem to believe this has gone away. I don't. Especially given that you have the system rigged against blacks by trying to gerrymander them into few districts to minimize their overall representation. That is happening TODAY.
Simply google abortion statistics and you can get all the info you need breh. "Convenience" covers a multitude of reasons which basically come down to not wanting the child for a any reason.
This is seperate from rape casses and sexual assults which are about 1-2 percent.
Regarding your point about the south the reason is even tho the south has massive black populations they are still held in check my white majorities in each state. For example if the southern black population coalesced into 3 or 4 states they would be strong majorities.
Regardless if the argument is that white suprenacy will always keep us down then im going to have to strongly disagree. A state cannot supress 30% easily or even feasibly. 11-13%? Thats doable and its happening. Lets look at an example in history, back in the slave days the southern population was 9 million with 3 million slaves alone. The Greatest fear of the southerners was controlling the slaves and slave rebellions, they write about this ad nauseam. Its part of why 300,000 of them died in the civil war, if america today was 30% black i can promise you the governments aproach to police brutality would be different.
The black population is too small to make a difference politically and economically. We have no leg to stand on figuratively and literally.
Look at this past election, the latino comunity had an entire debate and questionare just for their OWN SPECIFIC NEEDS AS A COMUNITY. Both parties have alreafy shifted strategy to pandering to this demographic. Thats the power of numbers.
There are many reason both scientific and moral to support or not support abortion but if we are speaking strickly for the good of the black community.
Theres only one answer
