I don't understand why people say she won the popular vote.
Because she lost the popular nomination.
Just like Trump only won because of the electoral college, hillary won the nomination only because of superdelegates.

So why bring that up?
I'm not pointing fingers, I want to know ya'll perspective, or maybe something I didn't consider.

Above the fray.
It's not people as much what reporters used to say.
Trump winning basically called BS on all the "polls""experts"etc who said that he didn't have a chance.

They've been copping pleas ever since.

Bringing up the popular vote is as irrelevant as losing a football game and saying that your team lead in time of possession.

the black cat is my crown...
that really depends on context... some are arguing against the electoral college... some are arguing that trump is vulnerable to defeat because he actually got less votes than his opponent... i don't think anyone is actually arguing that trump didn't legitimately win the election based on the rules*....

*except those arguing russian collusion, which is irrelevant to whether hillary got more or less votes than trump....

Because we’ve seen multiple recent instances where the popular vote winner loses the electoral vote + there is actually significant momentum behind getting rid of the EC. Example: all of the states that have pledged to give all votes to the popular vote winner.

It’s deeper than Hillary and more about the EC being seen as less “legitimate “ now
