Like I've heard weird stories about people just sitting down and all of a sudden they'll explode in flames..why is that? What's the science behind that?

Being a non melanated folk causes abnormal inner assaults against the body
There are many hypotheses but none are concrete. Our body is made up of many different elements. It is rare but if 1 element comes in contact with another when it shouldn't, well abnormalities can happen.
Our body can produce methane and many other elements that can cause combustion when they come in contact with methane.
Just a theory.
There are no real answers.
But I think our body was and/or is able to harness large amounts of energy. If said energy isn't governed than anything can happen. Many elements in the atmosphere go through combustion. And if you believe in "As above, so below" then maybe our body just explodes from a inner thunderstorm

SALLISAW, Okla. – Sequoyah County authorities say a man who died in a fire at his home may have spontaneously combusted.
The 66-year-old man died in the blaze on Monday.
Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart says several neighbors entered the home when they saw smoke and assumed trash had caught fire. Then they realized a person was burning.
Lockhart said the remains were in the kitchen and there was no other damage in the home. The sheriff says there was no apparent source of the fire.
Authorities say the man had a history of heavy drinking and smoking.
No cause of the fire has been determined and Lockhart says spontaneous combustion has not been ruled out.
The body was sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa for an autopsy.
