it's still pretty shytty for those looking for gainful employment. one thing about those unemployment statistics, it only reports those looking for work. it doesn't include the millions of americans that have given up, and are on welfare.

As black people its plenty of cats that don't even attempt to work. It's fukked up.

Meaning phd and starting at a master's to make it in this country, period.

There is no other way.
with a masters, you can get any job, or career.
Even if untrained or it is not your major.
With a phd you can also do whatever you want.
There is no more blue collar worker.
Or, the high school prominent success story in general.
fukk trying to be an exception to the rule.
I used to be the exceptional exception to the rule.
Now,...i have no degree or phd to fall back on to barge my way back to my industry or career.
Which is because I do not have a degree.
Get your degrees,...

This country needs to stop valueing ho ass corporation as people over human life.
There is enough money for every one.

The problem is corporations have no incentive to improve this nation. If they can improve profits by shipping jobs overseas, they will, and that includes these so-called 'knowledge jobs' that they sold the public on when they started shipping the manufacturing jobs overseas. Things like cloud computing is really going to see more jobs shipped abroad to where corporations will get the highest possible level of talent for the lowest price necessary by making people compete world-wide. There are jobs out there, but a lot of them aren't commensurate with the level of talent people are bringing to the table.
