I DON'T know. Free drinks, tips, and free music all night long sounds like a cool job. Maybe there tired of telling and hearing bar jokes. Or maybe tired of playing therapist for guys coming in Talking bout their miserable life.

Bartending is GOAT. My bartender friends used to get free drinks, get in free on nights they weren't working (clubs/bars), and even the fat/ugly ones were fukking mad girls just cuz of they're gigs. Honestly, if you're under the age of 25 bartending is great, I don't know about after but them dudes were living the life

the thing about a bartender job, is that it would be cool as a 2nd job, but those late night hours aren't condusive for someone who has a 9-5 that provides the majority of their income.
Most cats just burn out.
Your hours and the because girls throw themselves a lotta times u gain a rep of being a man whore because ur a bar tender (whether you are or not) it makes it hard to find anyone to date who isn't in the service industry (you don't wanna actually date any of them because usually they're a special type of crazy) but they're the only ones available the hours that you are.
You're always working if you're at a decent spot so you miss out on basically everything (family, major sports events etc) and you're always the only person awake when you get off work. That grind wears folks out. Especially if you have a day gig

Well at least in my city it seems, they aren't making money like that. Good money flutuates. A lot of the bartenders I know don't got they own but living in roommate situations with up to 6 people.
