Why do pizza places charge more for taxes?

I just realized this. I order a pizza thats like 10 bucks, the tax is like 2.80 cents.

If i go to walmart and get a 10 dollars sam clubs pizza the tax s like 80 cents.

And this isnt even including the delivery fee
