Forums are a haven for anti-social types.

A lot of these people feel safe in the illusion of anonymity.

They don't do so well when they're forced to be themselves amongst others.

A lot of hatefilled losers frequent forums. It's a digital substitute for actually having to make friends.

I did a seminar on the misconception of social media. A lot of people don't use it to its potential. I network on it, I win free shyt from it, I get all my politics news one it and you get to talk to people from different parts of the world.
It makes the world smaller and more connected.

The ones that don't like it are just insecure because they think it's a way to get attention. The forum was the original social networking site. That's why I laugh when people go at each other regarding post count because if they were on twitter or something, it would be the same shyt and you don't even have to be on it all day, you can just tweet a lot.

People just don't realize the potential but I may be biased because I work with it.
