Why Do Some People Not Like When Rappers "Scream" On the Mic?

I personally like that shyt :manny:

I like the emotion that it conveys. It gets me hype.

For instance, I love Memphis Bleek verse on this:



How he starts the song off with so much energy is just :banderas:

Meek Mill is another prime example obviously. I don't listen to too much of his music but I can say that I absolutely love his energy and mic presence.

He totally outshines Ross on this to the point where I fast forward through Ross's verses.



Ross is just too laid-back and "cool" on this track. The beat requires more energy and Meek gives that. Ross verses are flat out boring.

Energy alone can make up for lack of other qualities.

Energy alone can make somebody entertaining to listen in my opinion.
