These guys aren't personalities and it's just awkward and uncomfortable listening to them speak a lot of the time. Their all bursting out of their suits with their huge bodies (pause) and talking about some nonsense that doesn't even make sense half the time. There are a few good ones like Deion and Steve Young who are made for tv but for the most part they stink.

WTH?

I mean yeah not all of them are great, but the great ones are all ex-players.

And if they didn't hire former athletes, there'd pretty much be no Black analyst on TV.

So you want "personalities" to speak about a game they have never played professionally?

What about them makes you uncomfortable? :mjpls:

One star thread.

Negged.

Because they think that former players (and former coaches) will be able to speak elaborately on some football-related details. They think they are subject matter experts so they bring them on. Some are good at playing the game, and aren't eloquent in front of the camera.

The flipside of this is seeing women sports reporters talking about this and that... like they've actually played the game or something like that. :comeon: You just want to see a woman who went to college for communication and be able to interview people and read from a cue card, then you can have that too.
