Why do they inject death row inmates?

I never understood that.
Why don't they just bring in a firing squad? Seems to be easier and eliminates a lot of room for mistakes.
Also I think if Judges can play God & sentence somebody to death, they should be the ones that have to do it.

They search & search for combinations of injections to use & hope that it works. What if somebody has a weird mutation and it just turns them into a fukkin superhuman?

They don't even let the inmate choose what he wants. If it was me & I had a chance to choose, I would tell them to give me a 2x lethal dose of LSD & Shrooms. I don't know, but lethal injection seems like some mind at ease way of killing somebody. Plus I think the criminal should go out in the same violent manner their crime was

Pretty sure the inmate can pick from a few options.. Ronnie Lee Gardern chose firing squad in Utah in 2010... You can pick hanging, gas chamber, only one they don't have that most people think of off top is guillotine.
