With how social media is portrayed, how the illusion is still admired, and along with the comfortable realization of fabrication of self, why humanity thrives on living lies, instead of embracing the truth.

From the reality of whose in the White House, to Coli posters lying on their dikks....what is the endgame of holding onto lies like it's supposed to matter in the end days? It just blows my mind, folks continue to think that people on TV are doing better than themselves, but they are doing Uber Eat runs like the regular Joe Schmo. I was listening to a podcast about Hoegan and dude was basically the King of Cap. Mans lied about winning the Little League World Series, when that was bullshyt...he was in the finals of the regional series for Tampa and still lost the game.

Then you have folks hiding behind accomplishments, rather than living in the now. I used to be guilty of this until I realize what's the point? I play a koala, but in reality I'm a struggling mental and physical 40 year old black man trying to buy time along with keeping it trucking from past trauma and present struggles. Meanwhile, you have folks living this facade that makes them obtuse to reality.

Somehow, the truth that people in general are full of flaws seems to be like a vampire looking at their reflection. They hate it because they can't see their own ills. Folks treat social media like their own personal diary, but are often shamed for exposing their own issues. Why is that?

Why we reward lies, and shun truths?

Why we would rather tell folks to seek help, instead of being there with them?

Why do we keep throwing chicken bones at the freak, when the freak look at us like the freaks?

When will people start to accept reality and not constant go to war on lies just to avoid accountability, and facts that they are not doing as well as they should be doing? And even then, who gives a shyt? In 2025, we are damn near in the Great Depression, but somehow the news keeps us feeling like its just a rough start to a 80s economic rush.

TLDR Moesha Theme song: "Why as humans and animals do we fight on lies, instead of living with the truth"?

In my experience sometimes the truth will only reveal itself in time so you don't really know if what you're fighting on is the truth or a lie.

Like if you're on my team and you can visibly see the team across from us is filled with bigger, faster and stronger guys that look like they know what they're doing just as much as you do, you better not for one second think that means a damn thing until after we finish playing.

So we will never know whats true or not, but will go on a whim of gut instincts :lupe: ?

Modern times really just feels like the Pastor Troy "Vice Versa" song. Nothing seems real anymore and reality seems like a lie worth dying for, while the truth is a nightmare not worth waking up in cold sweats for.

But the moment the truth is accepted, then its welcome until the next lie is a security blanket holding down the naive and desperate.

Read "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" by Hemingway. As a species we lie to ourselves all the time in order to try to find meaning in a meaningless existence and soothe our egos in the face of our finite existence.
