hearing about a celebrity that died does nothing to me. it doesnt "ruin my day". i dont feel the need to make a tribute post about the them. hearing about a celebrity death is the equivalent to hearing about someone winning the lotto.. my reaction is "oh wow, damn.... i wonder if i should have chinese later "

We do see death happening all around us but some are less exposed to it than others

Yes one famous person isn’t more important than the hundreds/thousands of innocent people who are dying in wars everyday


but you still mourn them because they brought laughter/joy to your life and made you think

This world is a terrible place but we can still remember the good people
