In really hope that one day, ppl outside the West Coast will stop using street & industry dudes as the gold standard for all men on the West Coast!! Smh..
Street & industry dudes live a different lifestyle than the rest of the male population. The average man in the West isn't dealing with gay folks outside of a small percentage that may be in the gay community or have gay friends.
Seems ppl with money, status and influence may fraternize with ppl who deal with gay dudes, booty goons, etc. And that circle my be very small or if not hidden.
Everyone else is just living their lives as best as they can like any other person around the country.
