Theres a difference between women who choose to go into prostitution because as you mentioned wanting a lifestyle their income/qualifications/ employment history would not allow. I know plenty of women do this, to pay themselves through uni perhaps, perhaps they don't want to stack supermarket shelves and would rather earn more than a doctor or lawyer hourly on their back with their legs spread, the sensible ones save enough to start their own business's or get that degree, the stupid ones blow it all on drugs, clothes ,cars ,not realising by the time they are 30 their shelf life is probably over. I have zero sympathy for those women. I doubt many like sleeping with men who seem them as depositories for all their fantasys and bodily fluids, but the choice was theirs.
However there are other women who are kidnapped off the streets, blackmailed into prositution, conned about a legtimate job when they arrive in another country but are told they have to work their passage off on their backs or they or their families back home will be harmed,,that is trafficking, and it is a world wide problem. It isn't just grown women who are victims ,it is little boys and girls. It is modern day slavery and those who do it should be hung.
It annoys me though when feminists do the same, they equate prostitution with the trafficking of human beings, they then try to bring in laws making prostitution more illegal, not because they care about the trafficked women and children, but because they don't like their husbands seeing the prostitutes. These feminists secretly regard prostitutes as scum , and that is evident by the fact they want to drive the worlds oldest profession underground.
