A work in progress...
Why is it that you always see cacs saying shyt like this? Look at the first panel:
I'm real sick of this cop-out and I'll explain why (I know this particular image is probably from a comedy skit, but best believe cacs believe this shyt).
Let's explore the implications behind statements like these. The first of which being that it seems to me that white people are upset that they can't be racist a$$holes to black people in public anymore (yes, it's mainly us they're the most mad at, let's keep it funky) without any repercussions to their behavior. Basically, they don't like the fact that we can put their asses in check with the quickness as soon as some racist bullshyt pops off. It begs the question: "Why do they have such an inherent (
) need to be a$$holes in the first place?" It all goes back to one word: privilege (or, really, supremacy). White people grow up in the white supremacist power structure believing that they can do or say no wrong, and that those of us at the bottom of said hierarchy should kowtow to them at every turn. Basically, they want it to be the 1950's again where, as Granddad from the Boondocks said, "Back in my day, if a white man called you a ******, you went around the corner and cried."
So no, it's not that you can't "say anything", it's just that you're too chickenshyt to deal with the consequences and responsibilities of the shyt you say and do. For people that like to call me "immature for not being able to handle criticism" wanting all the freedoms without any of the responsibilities is pretty fukking childish. Really speaks to their inherent/latent hypocrisy. Speaking of privilege, while you're over here whining about how you can no longer call me a ****** without there being repercussions, there are people in this world who long for having the same freedom of speech you have in America, and then on top of that, there are people who have NO RIGHTS AT ALL.
So while you continue to make up fake outrage and things to be angry about so that you can alleviate whatever guilt you carry around to help you sleep better at night, I'll be over here giving you the eternal
.
I'll end this little rant from the GOAT cac, George Carlin, that not only understood this concept, but he nailed it perfectly in his last HBO special: "When it comes to rights, I think one of two things is true. Either we have unlimited rights, or we have no rights at all. Personally, I lean towards unlimited rights. I feel for instance, that I have the right to do anything I please, but if I do something you don't like, I think you have the right to kill me! Where are you going to find a fairer fukking deal than that? So the next time some a$$hole says, "I have a right to my opinion!" you say, "Yeah, we'll I have a right to my opinion and my opinion is you have no right to your opinion!"
Pretty simple concept, yet there's not a group on the planet that has a problem with it like the over-privileged, American cac.
