Why do women decide whether to abort or keep a baby?

They can abort the baby without telling the man and/or against his wishes, which is perfectly fine.

However, they can also choose to keep the baby against the man's wishes.

Why are women allowed to hold your sperm hostage?

They can poke a hole in a condom, get pregnant, milk the man for child support (18 years, 18 years), and this is completely legal in the United States.

I can see how forcing a woman to have an abortion is difficult, and some would argue that it is cruel --- but how is it not as cruel as holding a man's sperm hostage and creating a child of his against his wishes? To avoid this possible difficulty, if women did not want to risk the chance of being forced to abort a baby because of an accidental pregnancy, they could have the man preemptively approve any possible pregnancy before sex.

It's something that people don't think about because we are so conditioned, but the technology and medicine is available to terminate pregnancies with no pain whatsoever.

There should be a cut-off date for the decision, of course.. like a week after the man is notified that the women got pregnant. So, both parents sign off on a birth, and only one has to refuse in order for the pregnancy not to be carried out. In what way is that not fair? Each partner contributes 50% to the potential human being, yet the potential mother is given 100% control?

I do think men should have a certain say in abortions, but only because the courts are geared to benefit the woman and punish the man almost all the time should she decide to keep the baby.

At the end of the day she is the one who has to carry it in her body for nine months. I think in that case she does deserve to get a little bit more say in the matter. Now if you want to maybe get a surgical procedure to carry the baby in her place and let her opt out of caring for it outside of child support then I would agree you get more of a say.

I've been with my girl for 9 years and we've lived together for almost as long. No kids and only one scare. When we have even the slightest concern, we got plan b immediately. We would rather pay for the 50 bucks up front instead of 18+ years of an unmeasurable amount of money in the future. She's on birth control now and no more concern about that.

These days there is very little excuse to have unplanned pregnancies.

So I don't think casual sex is morally wrong but that doesn't mean I don't believe it comes with its own set of risks worth considering before follow through. One, you don't know who you're fukking with ( pun intended ). You don't know the mind state of this chick well enough that she may have saw you somewhere and thought hmm I want to trap that. So you can take precautions such as not letting her provide the condom. If you talk to her and get to know her and she seems to really have a kid and even after you logically explain why that might be a bad idea and she seems crazy and unable to see your logic maybe you need to take a step back and stop fukking. Use your head.

Ideally you should find a chick who is on the same page as you as far as having a kid at that point in time and again, stop fukking with crazies.

Secondly, the reality is that more times than not guys who don't want to be involved in their kids lives can easily opt out and send a check every month (if they even do that) and move on while it's usually the chick who gives birth, pays for incidentals on a day to day basis and usually always involved in the child life daily unless she criminally neglects the child or give it up for adoption or something. Men usually get off the easiest and in our community too many take the easiest route out. Unless you're completely involved in the child's life and very adamant about doing so, the woman still after child birth carries most of the load.

So in short, be smarter who you're fukking with and stop fukking crazies. Your life will be much easier.
