This I also don't understand why people act like most people talk about their fields all the fukking time. Most people talk regular everyday shyt that if you watch tv or keep up with the normal stuff you can have conversations with them. Who really wants to talk their job or degree field all the time?

Another person exaggerating what was said for reasons of being silly. Its not about caring if you're educated its just being realistic a lot of guys look at looks before your degrees. If that chick don't look good you think that dude care what she got a degree in? I don't care about them putting graduation pics in a dating profile personally but dude has a point.

I care to an extent (assuming I'm looking to date and not just hit).

All other things equal I'd prefer to date a woman that's as educated as myself. That said, it's not going to somehow make up for other things (like having a bunch of kids or being obese).

honestly, i think the one trait that makes girls super attractive to dudes is how cool the girl is. being cool will bring a 8 into 9.5/dime territory and will bring a 6 into a 7.5. what does "being cool" mean? it changes from person to person.

it's not that guys don't want girls with degrees. it's just that depending on how the women bring it up, a lot of us perceive women who bring up their degrees in a certain way as "uncool" (right or wrong, this is how most guys feel). it's the equivalent of being a semi-douchebag.
