I believe the problem is with this portion of your post.

after fact single mother "does the best she can" we all understand that, because once the child is born she is at a point of no return..

now what the coli is critical of is before the point of no return, the "why would you chose to have a child with this type of man knowing before hand he was a piece of sh#t".

that choice is soley on the women, because
1). she could always make the guy use protection
2). once a pregnancy is know the man cannot force the women to have or abort the baby, that choice is strictly the women.
3). the women has to carry the full term of pregnancy while the guy can leave out at anytime

so when you have that kind of power, would it not be in your best interest to chose the best potential partner to prevent said single mother scenario?

the fact that it keeps happening shows that mistake are not being learned from.
