Young people in general are impressionable. When they don't have parents or an older family member to show them the best standards and practices as to how to carry themselves or behave in whatever society and/or culture they choose to participate in, shyt goes off the rails.
Amber Rose and celebrities like her are positioned as strong and independent and in control of their own destinies and lives. Now pay very close attention the concept of "positioning". That's a business/marketing term. Remember that simply because a product or service is positioned a certain way, it doesn't mean that it will perform to or produce at optimum satisfaction or results. This is simply how that thing is marketed...how it's sold....to the consumer...
Now this does'nt mean that young black girls should'nt be sexually aware, free to wear what they want, look the way they want, be with who they want. Hell that's part of being an adult. But adults know that there is also a time and place for everything. Young adults don't know this and must be taught that, or they will be in for a rude awakening.
Pregnancy is very real. STDs are very real. Making poor choices in who you seep with is very real. Young black girls are not being taught this and if they are it's through some pseudo-religious crap or cutesy cutesy garbage that they are too smart or aware to fall for anyways.
You give young black girls (and young black men) the straight dope instead of trying to make the world more palatable to them, I guarantee you will see better results. But why the fukk would parents do that? That shyt takes time, effort, and frankly most of the children that exist today weren't planned anyways so its not exactly like the parents know what the fukk they're doing.
And it's all a vicious cycle really...dumb motherfukkers have kids, don't teach their kids shyt, kids grow up to be fukk ups and burdens on society and everyone around them, and so on and so forth.
