Namely with Microsoft and Sony. In the PC world AMD got crushed so bad they abandoned the high end market almost entirely and their frame generation is considered inferior. Nintendo messes with Nvidia but purposely goes with weaker hardware.

AMD was the only company that could provide a powerful x86 CPU + GPU on a single chip. Tegra was not a sufficient alternative.
