I notice that all my life, water from the bathroom taste significantly better than water from the kitchen
Gotta be a scientific explanation
@cook I would love your commentary on this weird strange phenom
Taste's the same to me.
The water that flows into your home comes in from one pipe. Then, it gets diverted from there. One goes to the hot water heater, another goes to the bathroom, another goes to the kitchen, and another goes to outdoor faucets.
If the water from your kitchen faucets tastes different than the water from the bathroom faucets, then your kitchen faucet may be dirty. Within the faucet, you have a valve that opens and closes for cold water and another one for hot water. Then, there's a pipe from those valves that leads to the spout. And inside the spout is a screen with a plastic piece in it that controls the flow of water to be smooth. If this screen is dirty with possibly mold, rust or lime/calcium deposits, you can clean that screen out or replace it and/or the plastic insert.
